The annual ELMS reunion event for the ‘helpers’, escapers and evaders who either organised, or used the escape lines of occupied Europe during World War II.
The event honours members of Allied aircrew, who bailed out over enemy territory, escapees from enemy Prisoner of War camps and all those who came to their aid at great risk to themselves, from members of the Resistance, to guides and safe house keepers.
Service led by the Sheffield Pipe Band and the Northumberland Fusiliers Cadet Band in attendance.
Event begins at 11:00 am.
