AUSTIN K4 FIRE ENGINE
Another new arrival will be with us on 4th July 1995 just in time for the Fire Service Preservation group's Northern Rally, on 8th & 9th July at the Camp.
The engine was built in 1941 and is everyone's idea of a fire engine. The escape ladder has the familiar large wheels at the reer and its distinctively bright red colour really does make it stand out.
The fire engine compliments our growing fire and rescue display and joins our existing "Green Goddess".
Over the weekend up to 35 engines will be on display and working demonstrations will be carried out.
