G.I. JIMMY
GI JIMMY will be arriving here at EDEN CAMP on 29th April 1991 at approximately 1pm.
GI JIMMY is a 1940, GMC, 6x6, 2.5 ton, Universal long wheel base truck used in many guises throughout the Second World War years, in total over 800,000 were produced.
The truck will be joining the steadily growing collection of Military Vehicles here at the Camp and compliments the camp and compliments the already aquired "Duck" (DUKW) in that the 2.5 ton chassis, engine etc. are the same.
