Korea Display - Hut 13 Inauguration.

On 3rd October 1999, The British Korean Veterans Association will be meeting at Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum. The purpose is to perform the official opening of Hut 13, the latest addition to the Museum!

Major General AC Birtwistle will perform the honours. His Excellency, Mr CHOI Sung-hong, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea will also be attending. The ceremony takes place at 11,00hrs.

The British Korean Veterans Association assisted ourselves to create the display dedicated to the men who served from June 1950 until July 1953. There will also be a plaque unveiled on the day in our Chapel dedicated to their Comrades who never returned.

Over 450 British Korean Veterans are expected on the day. Anyone who served in Korea is welcome to attend with their families as our guests on the day.

The area forms the major section of Hut 13, which also covers all the events that Britain, has been involved in overseas from 1945 to the present day.
