Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum is not closing!!!
After the recent announcement that EDEN FARM INSIGHT is to close at the end of the season, we would like to clarify that EDEN CAMP is not closeing, and that it is our intention to be around for many years to come. We have been inundated with calls asking why we are closing.
We have enjoyed good working relations with EDEN FARM over the years and it is a shame to see such an excellent attraction decide to close. Their situation highlights the uneven playing field that privately owned attractions have to compete on. We, for instance, are not recognised as a Museum by the so called proper museums, and as such, we receive no grants, funding, assistance or lottery handouts.
We have to survive against all odds with massive handouts being given to our competitors. Despite the odds, we carry on, going from strength to strength. There are not many attractions that have won awards year after year, and strive to give value for money.
