PICADILLY CIRCUS FINALLY ARRIVES AT EDEN CAMP!!!
Hut 24 the first of our "Museum within a Museum" hut's opens to the public on 23rd September 1990 three weeks behind schedule due to the hectic constraints of our busiest summer season ever.
During the afternoon the Barnsley Concert Band with its sixty members will be performing songs of the Forties welcoming on board the addition to the Museum.
Scenes depicted include a section of the London Underground being used as an air raid shelter. The ever ready crews of Fighter Command awaiting the telephone call to scramble. Also walk also walk across from the beach to waiting detroyers. Witness the cramped living conditions onboard a ship running the gauntlet of the convoys and much much more.
