DIG FOR VICTORY
Our first vegetables are ready for cropping from our 'Dig For Victory' Garden.
The garden was added to the Museum at the end of the last year and has been a source of discussion between young and old alike throughout the season.
During the war years the population of Britain was encouraged to cultivate every available allotment, park and grass verge to provide vital food supplies.
