A NEW ARRIVAL AT EDEN CAMP
We have just taken delivery of a new vehicle here at the Camp, however, unlike the new "M" reg's our latest aquisition is of 1944 vintage ie. some 50 years old!
The vehicle is a German Schutzenpanzerwagon SdKfz 251, which in true terms is a Half Track. To complete this impressive vehicle it is on display towing a German sFH 18 Howitzer.
We are midway through yet again another record season here at the Camp, the above vehicles being just a small part of our contiuing strides for improvement.
We were voted as the best in Yorkshire and Humberside in 1992 and since then have improved considerably. The average visit to the museum is taking between three to four hours, which when you consider our entry costs of £3.00 adults and £2.00 senior citizens and children, makes very good value for money.
