Millennium Projects

Dear Sir

PRESS RELEASE

You don't have to be Einstein to work out why the new Millennium Attractions around the Country are failing.

Reports keep appearing about the lack of visitors, reducing entry costs, laying off staff etc.

Welcome to the real world of business !!!

Who else gets literally millions of pounds of other peoples money to set up businesses in direct competition with private enterprise.

At a recent Yorkshire Tourist Board meeting Tom Cabourne MP told ourselves, that the new Millennium attractions, would be leading the way, and existing attractions would have to get their act together and follow their lead.

I advised him that we and many other existing attractions, were already setting the industries standards, and that it would be the Millennium projects that will be struggling to try and follow our lead.

Here we are just getting to grips with another up and down tourism year and the so called Millennium big boys are bitching about the lack of visitors, etc, despite having marketing budgets bigger than our annual turnover.

What do they expect? You don't achieve excellence with money, it takes years of understanding your product. You have to earn your place in the league tables.

Fortunately we here at Eden Camp are the best in the country and this reflects in our rise in visitors yet again. If you would like to really get me going on the subject please give me a ring.

Regards

Steve Jaques
